  The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was among the first superstar performers to head for the Middle East in 2023. He made that move after being released from his contract at Premier League giants Manchester United and gracing the 2022 World Cup with Portugal.

  Ronaldo has talked up the Saudi Pro League on a regular basis – allowing him to be joined by the likes of Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez, N’Golo Kante and Fabinho – and has settled quickly off the pitch.

  Ronaldo has further highlighted that fact by featuring in a video alongside Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Alex Telles and Talisca in which he appears in a black bisht and white thobe while carrying a sword. The video in question – which has been released ahead of Saudi National Day – is tagged “All together. For one flag. We Dream, and Achieve”.
