The Luka Modric dispute took a new twist yesterday with the Croatian accusing Daniel Levy of doing the dirty on him. Apparently the Tottenham chairman has reneged on a gentleman’s agreement that has subsequently riled Modric who has suggested that he may now put in a transfer request to force the move.
In the papers this morning there have been a mixed bag of stories that include Liverpool frustrated over plans to redevelop Anfield; Micah Richards upset by wage rumours, while United reportedly close in on Sneijder.
